We have a current opportunity for a Production Planner on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Banbury
- onsite ( Mon -Fri ).
Our client is a leading manufacturer and provider of outdoor living furniture and storage solutions.Since their conception over 75 years ago ,production innovation has been at the heart of their success.
**The Role**
Reporting to the Operations Director and collaborating with the Logistics Manager you will be responsible for efficient factory planning management using Materials Requirement Planning ( MRP).It involves overseeing MRP inventory control ,managing raw material and packaging orders to meet production schedules and ensure timely deliveries. As well as close coordination with various departments to maintain optimal inventory levels and align production with demand.

- Possesses a technical aptitude to understand and convey product knowledge through business competency
**Qualifications/Experience**
- Strongly analytical and able to display critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Possess a high degree of competency in the use of MS Excel, Word, Power point and Outlook
- Have work experience of MRP systems
- Ideally have experience of SAP
- Experience in manufacturing ( plastics preferred-FMCG industry )
