**Responsibilities**:

- **Leadership**: Lead and inspire a team of dedicated staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and scheduling team members to ensure top-notch service and customer satisfaction.
- **Customer Service**: Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered consistently. Address customer concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations.
- **Operational Excellence**: Oversee the daily operations of the pub, from opening to closing. This includes setting up and closing down the establishment, ensuring all equipment is in working order, and maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.
- **Inventory and Ordering**: Manage inventory levels, keeping the bar and waiting stations stocked.
- **Menu and Specials**: Collaborate with management to develop and execute menus and promotions that entice customers and maximize profitability.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all staff adhere to local alcohol and food safety regulations. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the pub and its surroundings.
- **Bar Management**: Assist in controlling costs and maximizing profitability through effective event management and promotions to incentivise a higher spend per head.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous supervisory or management experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not essential.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts.
- A passion for the food and beverage industry.
- Flexible schedule, as the position requires opening and closing responsibilities.
