Lift Service Engineer

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a family owned, rapidly growing business based in Hampshire, established for over 35 years, who are currently seeking a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route from Reading down to Southampton, across to Surrey. Thisrole will involve very mínimal work within the M25 so could be a great option for anyone living in Surrey looking to spend less time working inside Central London.
The role for the Lift Service Engineer will involve;
- Servicing, breakdowns and minor repair of traction and hydraulic lift equipment.
- Working in varied environments, from local authority buildings, hospitals and office premises.
- Taking part in the company's callout rota on a 1 week in 5 basis, starting Friday evening and ending the following Friday morning.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have;
- Over 3 years' experience in a similar role, mainly with experience in servicing and fault finding on traction and hydraulic lift equipment.
- Previous experience working directly for a Lift Specialist employer.
- Ideally an NVQ 3 or equivalent, however this is not essential and time served will still be considered.
- A full UK driving license.
The role of the Lift Service Engineer will offer;
- A basic salary of up to £42,000 per annum.
- Competitive callout and overtime pay, offered at enhanced rates.
- A standby fee of £175 per week.
- 25 days' annual leave, plus Bank Holidays and increasing with length of service.
- A contributory company pension scheme.
- A company perks scheme.
- Company vehicle with optional personal use and a fuel card.
- A uniform, tooling and PPE will all be provided, along with a mobile phone.
