**We are currently recruiting for a PMO Planner to support our Client Royal London on an initial 12 Month Contract based on a hybrid working model within Edinburgh.**
**Purpose of the Role**:
The purpose of the role is to provide outstanding quality of Planning and Plan Assurance services on a on a complex transformation programme of Change at Royal London to support the programme lead, delivery leads and delivery team
**As the PMO Planner, you will be responsible for**:
- Providing outstanding quality of Planning and Plan Assurance services on a complex transformation programme of Change at Royal London to support the programme lead, delivery leads and delivery team.
- Programme, project and workstream plan creation, development, and maintenance, across multiple workstreams.
- Performing inter-dependency reviews to provide insights, challenge, recommendations, and actions to stakeholders and to enable informed decision making.
- Performing plan assurance across multiple workstreams.
- Supporting the strategy and operational business objectives, delivering continuous improvement in all aspects of project/programme planning to achieve the successful delivery of the complex transformation programme.
- Building project and programme planning capability on the programme through visible and effective leadership, standards and championing the use of best practice project planning standards, tools and processes.
- Sharing best practice with others to uplift capability wider than the transformation programme.
**The skills, attributes and capabilities we are seeking from you include**:
- Experience as a project planner from within the Pensions or wider Financial Services sector
- Extensive knowledge in plan creation, development, and maintenance with experience of planning high worth, multi-year, complex programmes
- Experience in managing dependencies across multiple workstreams, creating roadmaps and implementing change
- Demonstrated skills in performing quality assurance of complex plans with the ability to give feedback, mentor, and coach PM's and workstream leads
- Ability to build relationships quickly with all stakeholders including Senior Management teams, Business SME's as well as Technology leads
- The ability to challenge reporting with Critical Path Analysis
- Expert knowledge and use of MS Project and Windows 10
- The ability to add value and voice your opinions to senior stakeholders and share best practice across the team
**This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella engagement model.**
