Within the role you will be required to:

- Support and enthuse children and young people to achieve their academic goals, develop their life skills and passion for independence
- Understand pupil motivations and use these to engage learning opportunities
- Create a learning environment in which the students will feel safe, secure and fully included
- Deliver planned guided work in line with the requirements of a bespoke curriculum
- Supporting the class teacher to deliver the curriculum

Skills and attributes:
The best applicants for this role will be passionate about delivering an outstanding level of support to the pupils and will possess the following attributes:

- Have empathy, patience, and the ambition to make a difference
- Be observant and respond appropriately to key triggers
- Have a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude
- SEN experience is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given. An understanding of special educational needs and disabilities would be advantageous.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £75.00-£85.00 per day
