Compliance Monitoring Quality Assurance Officer

This role works across our organisation within operational and support departments from our retail and digital channels and will provide a monitoring framework, KPI's and data driven analysis of compliance within the UKGC regulations. This is a great role that requires strong organisational and planning skills and would be perfect for someone with first class problem solving skills as well as the ability to build excellent relationships.
To following the current internal compliance monitoring and QA framework, and providing KPIs and data driven analysis of Compliance with the UKGC regulations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support the Compliance Monitoring QA Manager and execute internal QA plans to ensure compliance with the RTS /LCCP and effectiveness of existing compliance controls.
- Scrutinise KYC/AML work on at-risk customer accounts and compile QA reports by following internal QA policy and procedures.
- Compile and analyse statistical data.
- Provide support/compile in Data analysis reports.
- Identify risk factors and offer recommendations on corrective actions.
- Interprete and keep abreast of regulatory requirements and developments.
- Analyse trends and enable the business to identify systemic issues.
- Accelerate the change and improvement in compliance performance and quality
- Communicate findings, trends and remediations to a range of key stakeholders through regular reporting requirements.
**Your skills and experience**:
- Experience in a quality assurance function
- Experience of KYC/AML within a regulated environment
- Experience in building statistical models (preferred)
- Recent knowledge of the gambling sector
- Strong practical understanding of license obligations in regard to the Act 2005, POCA, TACT, LCCP and RTS
- Knowledge and understanding of the three lines of defence model.
- Solid and advanced knowledge of MS Office suite particularly PowerPoint & Excel (high proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and databases
**Your Qualifications**:
- Excellent academic background, BSc/MSc in business administration, mathematics, statistics, law or a related field; Alternatively, demonstrated experience in a similar role
- ICA Certificate or similar certification in AML, compliance or quality assurance (preferred but not essential)
- Willingness to undertake relevant training for the role
