**Achieving Aspirations Greenacres provides a short break service and progressive day service for Young adults with Learning disabilities, difficulties, complex health needs and autism.**

We are looking for Senior Support Workers to join our team that really want to make a difference to Young people as they grow, develop and explore the world around us.

We empower our Young People to flourish and gain independance in our purpose-built home in Great Cornard, Sudbury.

Your role will include leading shifts, managing administration of medication, personal care support, writing and updating care plans, planning and implementing activities that help to encourage personal growth and living skills which can include cooking, arts and crafts, sensory activities, going out and about hydro pool time to name a few.

You will receive a full and comprehensive induction.

A minimum of 2 years Care experience is desirable as you will be leading shifts & supervising staff. Safeguarding experience is essential.

This position requires:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Staff to be able to maintain accurate records of young peoples interactions and progress.

Staff to be inclusive, responsive and proactive.

Applicants will need to be able to drive or reliably commute to the site as its in a remote area with no public transport access.

We do not offer sponsorship and require all Full time staff for this post to work a minimum of 35 hours a week and be fully flexible 7 days a week.

Part-time hours: 14 per week

**Salary**: £11.75-£14.00 per hour
