**Salary: £12.70 - £13.50ph with excellent benefits**

About Us

D4 is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people. Our 4-bed residential home offers medium to long-term care and support for four children aged 10-18 years, with a focus on those with autism and/or learning disabilities. We are committed to their well-being and development, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team.

**Role and Responsibilities**

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to the children in our home. Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the daily living activities and routines of the children, including personal care, meals, and recreational activities.
- Building positive relationships with the children to help them feel safe and valued.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Providing emotional and behavioral support to help children manage their challenges.
- Ensuring a safe and secure environment by following safeguarding procedures and protocols.
- Working collaboratively with the care team to maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Participating in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Communicating effectively with external agencies, families, and other stakeholders as required.

**Qualifications and Experience**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism and/or learning disabilities, is advantageous.
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a commitment to their well-being and development.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- An understanding of safeguarding procedures and the importance of maintaining a safe environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
