**Data Officer**

**£23,000 rising to £25,000 upon completion of training (approx. 4-6 months)**

Buffalo Fundraising Consultants is a leading fundraising company based in central Bristol. We are looking for a new herd member to join our IT team to work closely with our external clients and internal Campaign Officers to assist with the management of our clients' data.

We help our clients to fundraise using their existing supporter database. As part of our small but growing IT team your role will involve liaising with our clients to help ensure they send us the relevant data for the various fundraising services we provide. You will then process and format the data so that it is compatible with our internal processes.

You would also work behind the scenes to select the best possible potential donors from the data and assign appropriate fundraising amounts for these donors. This information will then be passed on to our Campaign Officer team who run our telephone campaigns. As a data team member you will also be expected to help improve our data processes and develop new products and systems.

You will be the first port of call for our Campaign Officers that need help and support with their data work therefore excellent communication skills are essential. Full training will be given on all the systems and processes that we use so we are looking for someone who is keen and willing to learn.

**Essential Requirements**
- Logical and analytical approach to work
- Good time management and communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Excel

**Desirable**
- Background in data
- Experience using Microsoft Access
- Experience using Raiser’s Edge, DARS or other CRM system

**Salary & Benefits**
