Whatyou’lldo Act as RAC Group’s Data Protection Officer, providing privacy leadership across all RAC companies and divisions. Lead and develop a team of three Data Protection Managers. Advise on data protection matters andmonitorcompliance. Report data protection issues to the Group’s Executive Risk & Audit Committee and the Group Regulated Board. Work closely with Legal, Information Security, Risk, and Compliance teams. Whatwe’relooking for Proven experience as a senior data protection practitioner. Strong technical knowledge of UK GDPR, Data Protection Act, and e-Privacy Regulation. Leadership and project management experience. Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels. Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience managing a team. Experience liaising with the ICO (or other regulators). Financial services experience is desirable. Qualifications/FSA: Preferable: CIPP-E or similar qualifications Why RAC?
