We are seeking an Finance Administrator with 2 years' experience in finance and accountancy to join our fast-growing team.

Reports to: CFO & Management Accountant
Department: Operations & Finance
Key Stakeholders: Senior Management, Finance, Operations
Location: Office-based, Worthing BN11

**Job Summary**

To work closely with the Operations and Finance departments to create and maintain robust accounting records and operational processes, manage bank accounts, invoice customers and maintaining stock records.

**Responsibilities**
- Liaising with staff, suppliers, customers, and clients about purchases and bills
- Managing payroll and expenses
- Updating accounts receivable & payable, issuing purchase orders, invoices, quotes, and accurately reconciling accounts
- Stock control and equipment ordering, maintaining inventory records
- Accurately tracking and assigning costs and expenses to projects
- Journals and month end reports
- VAT returns

**Requirements**:
E/D - Essential or Desirable

ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field - E

Proven experience in a junior accountant role or equivalent - E

Experience with MS Office, and Xero - E

Exceptional attention to detail - E

Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices - E

Excellent analytical and numerical skills, ability to use data to produce meaningful reports - E

Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively - D

Pro-active, customer-focused approach - E
