Permaroof are a progressive and expanding Company and we require a Warehouse Operative.

We’re looking for someone who share our passion for quality, our ambition and values as a business, who can adapt to our current ways of working as well as bringing new ideas.

You’ll already have some great experience within a warehouse or physical logistics operation and ideally be qualified to use various pieces of equipment including counterbalance forklift trucks - some experience of goods in, picking and packing, stock control and despatching will also be an advantage.

Ensuring that safety is a priority at all times, you will thrive working within a fast paced environment to achieve departmental targets and goals. You will need to demonstrate a commitment to learning and take an enthusiastic approach to the job.

You’ll need to be able to work on your own initiative - thinking on your feet to solve problems and your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will ensure you work well within your immediate team and others across the different departments.

The current shift pattern for this role is 8am - 5pm, however you will need to have a flexible approach to working hours, particularly during peak seasons when workloads increase in order to meet customer demand.

Warehouse Worker Job Duties:

- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
- Cutting and preparing materials to size
- Maintains Fork Lift Truck by completing preventive maintenance checks.
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Completes reports by entering required information.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**Salary**: £25,552.80-£26,065.00 per year
