**Description**

The Director, Options Sales Lead, Platform Solutions, is responsible for driving the growth of CME’s options franchise and associated revenues across all customer segments within the EMEA region, and increasing the adoption of CME’s proprietary front-end, CME Direct, for options risk management.

Key responsibilities:

- Working with existing sales teams to identify trends and opportunities within existing accounts as well as prospects to introduce CME option products and drive growth as part of both broad outreach efforts and campaign-based selling.
- Promote CME Group’s option products across all asset classes, including clearing services, data, technology and straight through processing.
- Introduce CME Direct’s options capabilities to existing and prospective users, demonstrating features and benefits to drive adoption, ongoing usage, and market share across EMEA.
- Participate and support in the development of and be accountable for the execution of segment and account specific sales campaigns and account plans.
- Engage and work with relevant internal departments e.g. Business Line Management, Market Regulation, Marketing, etc. to maximise sales impact with clients and achieve sales and marketing objectives.
- Participate in the organisation of and attend sales and marketing events including client engagement, industry expos, conferences and industry associations where you will build lasting relationships as well as promote & educate on CME’s products and services
- Utilize the CME CRM system to record and track contacts, calls and campaigns to effectively coordinate internal efforts.
- Continuously educate yourself on changes, additions and improvements of CME Group’s products and services to ensure you can update your clients in a timely, relevant and effective manner
- Stay abreast of and educate yourself on key industry news and trends that affect the different option asset classes and the industry as a whole. Raise awareness to the relevant sales teams via informative content and material to be used in sales efforts.

The role may involve national and international travel up to a maximum of 30% of a sales person’s time.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Demonstrable experience, selling, structuring or trading of OTC and/or listed option products, particularly across the EMEA region.
- A strong understanding of futures and options in the context of trading and risk management.
- Working knowledge of options trading platforms and associated features and workflows.
- Experience with and knowledge of one or more of the following markets: equities, interest rates, FX and or energy, agriculture or metals.
- Fluency in a European language in addition to English.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Education: BA or BS in Economics, Math, Finance or related field.
- Software Requirements: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
