Internal Sales Coordinator

Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Support and business development person who can provide a range of sales support tasks in a busy international sales department, our client is a world class manufacturing business that supplies products to over82 countries and is based in Newhaven, East Sussex close to train or bus ride from Brighton or Eastbourne.
The key purpose for the Sales Executive/Support is to develop the sales of our clients products, this means you will be based in the sales team in one of the specialist product teams, each team supports a portfolio of customers in dedicated regions of theUK and the world, you will be responsible for the account management and some business development of these accounts.
The Sales Executive / Sales Support is the first point of contact for new leads and enquiries and will support the Sales Director with managing the CRM system, you will also support the marketing team with customer focused projects for new lead generation.
The role is office based but may require occasional domestic or overseas travel therefore a valid UK passport and it would also be beneficial if you have a valid UK driving license as there will be some travel to exhibitions or UK customers.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow existing clients business by thoroughly understanding their business strategy and objectives
- First line customer response
- Generating new business from qualified leads
- Technical product support
- Account management for the shared sales office portfolio of customers
- Analyse all new business leads and filter to the appropriate BDM or stockist
- Identify hot leads from marketing campaigns, distribute and report
- Generate CRM reports to support the BDM’s with new business opportunities
