Here at The station hair and beauty, We are looking to take on another hairdressing apprentice.

This position is for someone that has a real passion and drive for wanting to get into the hairdressing industry, someone that is able to work well within a team and alone, and someone that has good time management and is creative. The care and support offered here are fantastic and this is an incredible opportunity for someone.

The salon is situated at a working train station so you can comute or drive as we also have a large free carpark. We are fortunate to have a lovely outside garden area for use at lunch and break times.

This will be a level 2 position, so, someone that is just starting their hairdressing career or looking to restart or refresh. You will finish with a fully recognised level 2 nvq.

We work with Saks academy so all training is carried out in the salon and therefore no day out at college.

The day to day tasks are assisting and observing stylsts in their work and helping to keep the salon clean and safe. Shampooing clients, making refeshments and of course training in both practical skills and theory.

We offer a trial day before any decissions are made so that you can come and get a feel for the salon.

Salary is based on age this will adjust as you work through your apprenticeship and the more advanced you become.

Part-time hours: 36 per week

**Salary**: £11,250.00-£13,000.00 per year
