**Café Supervisor**

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the staffing team in the Walled Garden Café

Set in stunning surroundings, our 14 acres site is peaceful and calm, with well-established gardens

The café boasts a main seating area, conservatory and looks out on to a Walled Garden with a listed wall plus an additional outside seating area. A takeaway service is also available

We are a dog friendly site

Our café offers home-made breakfasts, lunches and delicious cakes as well as hot and cold drinks to our residents and tenants, our staffing teams as well as being open to the public

We are looking to recruit an experienced supervisor to lead the existing experienced team

Applications are invited by individuals with a minimum of two years-experience in a similar role alongside an understanding of procurement, profit margins and rostering

There will also be the opportunity to be part of creating an updated menu to showcase home-made produce

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations of the café, including food preparation, customer service, and cleanliness.
- Manage and lead a team of café staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure high-quality food and beverage production, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Train new employees on café procedures, including food handling and customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized café environment.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and health regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £25,027.20 per year
