Randstad Preston Education supports our client Cidari Multi Academy Trust in its hunt for Nursery Assistants to work at one of its excellent schools in Blackburn for 5 days a week. This particular role does require a Nursery assistant with experience and/or an NVQ qualification. Starts as soon as possible and will finish at the end of the academic year.

An ideal individual would be enthusiastic about supporting learning through interaction with others. They would need to be compassionate, engaged, and committed to the growth of both social and behavioural skills.

Hourly rate = £11.68 - £13.00 (Rate is negotiable and will be agreed upon based on the role you work)

**Responsibilities**:

- Help prepare a lesson and tidy the classroom afterwards
- Provide assistance with lesson plans
- Support children across the curriculum
- Give extra support to children with special needs
- Help mark work
- Report student progress
- Help look after the children during school trips and activities
- Look after children that are unwell
- Attend meetings

Essentials:

- Experience working with young people
- Class management skills
- Comfortable managing challenging behaviour
- Able to engage with and motivate children
- TA Qualified
