We are a large, busy private day nursery dedicated to providing high-quality childcare and early education in a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and flexible **Bank Staff** to join our team of experienced Early Years Practitioners and support across our nursery units as needed.

**Role Overview**

As a Bank Nursery Practitioner, you will work as part of our friendly and supportive nursery team to deliver outstanding care and education to children aged 0-5 years. You will provide cover for staff absences and busy periods, working hours agreed on a weekly basis.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the **Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)** framework.
- Maintain a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment for all children.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Assist with daily routines including meal times, toileting, and rest periods.
- Observe and record children’s progress, supporting their individual learning and development.
- Work collaboratively with team members across different nursery rooms.
- Follow all nursery policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.

**Requirements**:

- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Ability to work flexibly, with shifts agreed weekly (Monday to Friday).
- Knowledge of the **EYFS** or **Development Matters** guidance is desirable but not essential.
- Relevant childcare qualification Level 3 in Early Years is required.
- Previous experience working in a nursery setting (preferred).
- Must be able to **reliably commute** to or plan to relocate near Blackburn (BB6 8AF).
