**We're looking for a Sustainability Engagement officer to join the Sustainability team to bring our sustainability ambitions to life for our audiences and stakeholders across the world.**

**About the role**

We're looking for a Sustainability Engagement Officer to join the Sustainability team and play an integral role in bringing our sustainability ambitions to life for our people, our stakeholders and our customers.

Sustainability is central to our mission and we are delivering an ambitious programme of projects designed to maximise our social impact and reduce our environmental footprint. Support and engagement from our people, suppliers and stakeholders is essential to help us deliver this to maximum effect. You'll be leading on the creation, planning and delivery of a stakeholder engagement and communications programme designed to demonstrate our ambitions to the world, encourage people to support and work with us, and to showcase our progress to the world. You'll work collaboratively with our communications teams and colleagues across the globe to harness their expertise, utilising your skills and ideas to plan and deliver the best communications campaigns and engagement programmes possible.

You'll measure the success of our sustainability campaigns against KPIs and present your analysis to stakeholders, taking forward learnings to your next projects. With excellent attention to detail, you will ensure that our progress on a range of sustainability issues are communicated accurately, in alignment with our regulatory and sector commitments.

**About you**

You will have experience in planning and delivering stakeholder engagement events and campaigns, with a strong understanding of the role of communications and marketing to reach people through a range of channels. You'll know how to tailor engagement approaches to different audiences and have experience of write engaging, clear and effective copy for a range of platforms. Your proven project management experience and diligent approach to deadlines will ensure multiple projects are delivered on time, and your eye for detail will ensure quality and accuracy is consistently high and messaging is aligned across our organisation.

You'll be a self-starter and independent, but also a strong team player who builds positive relationships with colleagues across teams and countries. If you enjoy working with diverse people to achieve impact, we want to hear from you

**Your essential skills, knowledge and qualifications**:

- Relevant experience in the communications, marketing or event management industry
- Great attention to detail and experience of developing high quality copy
- Experience measuring and reporting on campaign and event success
- Excellent communicator and confident collaborator
- A proactive team player who seeks solutions to challenges
- Highly organised and motivated to manage competing deadlines, with experience of using project management tools
- Understanding of common sustainability challenges for businesses and the role of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in driving global change
