**Main Purpose of Role**

**The main purpose of this role is to provide assistance in all aspects of administration within our accounts office.**

**Role & Responsibilities -**:

- (This list is to outline the common but not exhausted elements)_
- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors to the accounts’ office.
- Telephone call handling.
- Maintain supplier database.
- Support daily accounting duty and perform ad-hoc assignment from time to time as assigned by the Accounts Office Manager.
- Handling any other paperwork including company cars, supplier invoices and delivery notes.
- Assisting with data entry, generating reports and using various computer systems.
- This role will be supervised by a Senior staff member who will act as a mentor and primary point of contact.
- Someone who wants to complete or is already working towards a business admin apprenticeship.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Competent using Microsoft Office packages.
- Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
- Excellent communications skills.
- GCSE grades C and above (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

**Learning and development**:

- On-the-job training from experienced finance professionals.
- Dedicated time for off-the-job learning (minimum 6 hours per week).
- Regular progress reviews with line manager and training provider.
- Opportunity for permanent employment and qualification progression

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
