**About the role**:We are recruiting for an HR Administrator on a fixed-term contract for six months; you will be joining our Distribution HR team based at our Harlow Distribution Centre. You will also benefit from working closely with the HR team at Harlow. You will be reporting to the HR Manager. You will be responsible for various HR administration duties and support with payroll queries.
**What you will be doing**:
As a Distribution HR Administrator, your role will consist of:
- Maintaining and updating the HR system with information on new or existing colleagues
- Checking and Upload Payroll files
- Assisting Managers with Pay queries and reviewing and developing HR admin processes
- Administering HR-related documentation, such as offer letters, maternity/paternity etc
- Producing contracts for hourly and monthly paid promotions and transfers
- Ensuring all right to work documents are verified
- Providing advice to colleagues regarding welfare issues
- Responsible for all ad hoc correspondence and mail merge documentation
- Updating and maintaining the HR Online system and documents
- Assisting Managers in investigation and disciplinary and welfare meetings by taking notes and giving advice on policy
**About You**:
Experience in the below would be desirable:
- HR/Distribution/ Admin background
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of HR legislation and best practices (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
- Exposure to a fast-paced environment
