Sigma 3 has 6 of its own Retail Showrooms across South Wales and England. We serve a large number of independent trade and builder accounts and pride ourselves in a **quality product and a quality service**.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced **Project Kitchen Designer, **who has an eye for detail with a creative spark to work with our Contract Builder Team.
We are a highly reputable and respected company and are seeking a talented individual to join our friendly and professional team. We are targeting substantial growth over the next few years and to build on an already successful team.
**Role**
- Project work requires a flexibility to design and work to a variety of design briefs from one-off customers to large scale builders, from small budgets to high end.
- Understand and work to a brief.
- The ability to read and understand architects and builders’ plans.
- Produce site presentation packs for the sales manager to present to the clients.
- The potential to assist the sales manager in customer visits, meetings and presentations.
- Trouble shooting identified problems or concerns in relation to the kitchen design.
- Good time management skills are necessary as deadlines can vary between projects.
- Work as a team to check peers designs and quotations.
- Produce comprehensive pricing packs for each project/site.
- To follow the Commercial design procedure from the initial brief through the design process and quoting to checking and ordering.
- Site visits as necessary.
**Requirements**:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Creative thinker and problem solver.
- Ability to read technical specifications and drawings.
- Design and CAD experience (Compusoft Winner, AutoCAD or similar)
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Good organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
- Flexible working arrangements to meet customer needs.
- Attention to detail.
- The ability to work dependably and as part of an integral design team.
- Meticulous eye for detail with an intellect to digest and learn a broad range of product information.
- Be self-motivated and organised.
