Power Earthing

Your MissionAs a Power Earthing System Design Engineer, you'll ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of electrical power systems by designing and analysing earthing systems that meet industry standards and project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign earthing systems for substations, power plants, and electrical installations (BS EN 50522, ENA TS41-24, ENA ER S36).Conduct soil resistivity tests, fault current analysis, and voltage safety calculations.Select and specify materials including electrodes, conductors, and backfill.Produce detailed CAD drawings and schematics.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors.Ensure compliance with industry standards and conduct quality inspections.Assess and mitigate risks such as corrosion and fault protection gaps.Maintain accurate documentation and prepare technical reports.Stay current with industry developments and participate in professional training.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).Minimum 3 years' experience in earthing system design for power systems or industrial facilities.Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).Strong grasp of electrical theory and earthing principles.Familiarity with standards: BS EN 50522, ENA TS 41-24, ENA ER S36, IEEE 80, IEC 60479.Why Join RINA?We care about your career, your wellbeing, and your future.
