Newfield Fabrications Co. Limited are hiring CNC Machine Operators to join our expanding business.

Newfield are a well-established and forward-thinking fabrication company that pride ourselves in being able to offer stable long-term employment in the area.

The roles available are on a permanent and long-term basis, you will be contracted directly by Newfield Fabrication.

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the setting up and operating a range of CNC machines to produce precision parts.

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate and setting of CNC machines and lathes in accordance to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
- Actively and diligently manage all machine control settings and make necessary adjustments.
- Assemble components using hand tools and materials handling equipment.
- Monitoring consumables and raise internal requisitions for stock as required.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Perform basic maintenance on CNC machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.

**Qualifications**
- Proficiency in operating CNC Unisign machines, with experience in milling and lathes.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and basic maths skills for precise measurements.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use of dimensional measuring equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay: £11.70-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
