**About this career opportunity**

This role’s primary focus is to work with local business leaders in our Business Services and UK wide teams. to deliver the People priorities and the associated cyclical People activities. In addition, this role will be support leaders to lead through change as we transition internally to a new way of working.
You will be part of a team of 10 People Operations Partners, each supporting Leaders and Members within their given Geography.

The People Operations Partner takes ownership of the delivery of the People cyclical programmes and initiatives (e.g. salary review, talent planning, appraisals and early careers) for local management and teams.

Our People Operations Partners take a holistic view of People challenges across each geography and influence leaders to challenge current practices and gain insight into new ways of workings. Seek ways to influence and innovate in a changing environment, both internally and from an external context.

We are looking for someone who can build ‘networks of expertise’ across the People team to deliver creative solutions to meet the Groups objectives.

This will include partnering with the Head of People & Performance and the regional People Services Advisors on employee relations matters, supporting our emphasis on prevention, early intervention and informed risk management.

We have integrated working with peers, sharing best practices and learning experiences and using standard tools and methodologies.

- Experience in managing Complex Cases, A point of escalation for day-to-day queries, Complex employee relations, Proactive interventions with groups and teams
- Experience with Cyclical Activities, Interpretation & problem-solving, proactively identifying trends and solutions
- Operational focus for the delivery of excellence in all they do which aligns to the strategic priorities of the group and geography.
- In this role, you will empower managers by developing and coaching them on People leadership, providing training and guidance for managers and employees on using the new HR self-service technology and enabling our leaders and managers to become more self-sufficient.
