Internal Control Associate

As an Internal Control Associate at Canon EMEA, you will collaborate closely with the Internal Control team, primarily working under the guidance of senior colleagues. Your role will involve supporting the planning and management of Internal Control projects by gathering data and maintaining tracking tools. Additionally, you will conduct internal controls testing and design assessments, and offer consultation on internal control issues.

**What we ask**:
As a member of Internal Control team:

- Performs Internal Controls testing.
- Carries out detailed testing in key audit areas, summarising findings as directed by senior colleagues (cross-referencing data i.e. invoice match quote).
- Engage with various Internal Control stakeholders and represent Internal Control team.
- Updates all relevant documentation for Internal Controls testing purposes in the Internal Control SharePoint. Updates on relevant Internal Controls testing timetable.
- Provide consultation to various Internal Controls and process ownders across EMEA.
- Supporting projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Internal Control function.

**You will need**:

- Ideally business degree and/or experience working in Finance or Audit.
- You will be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver assignments on time.
- Detail oriented and excellent analytical skills.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Visio skills are preferred.
- Prior audit experience (either internal or external) is an advantage.

**Further Information**:
This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Our offices are based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
