**About the role**
As a People Partner you will join a growing people team. You will help shape the team and support in developing the team infrastructure, systems and practices. You’ll partner closely with the Middle Management and their teams to provide operational support across the spectrum of people-related issues. This will include everything from supporting managers to lead their team, through to a wide range of project work involving the development of attraction retention, workforce and succession planning strategies, wellbeing initiatives and much more. This is more than the average HR role. This role is a key role in building and maintain a culture which is important to us and therefore we are not looking for the average HR person. If you want to do things differently, this is the role for you.
**What will you do**
- Be a front line support for the groups of employees that you support
- You will build strong relationships with managers and staff to deliver end-to-end HR processes and guidance to our teams within a remote environment
- Work with the global People function on initiatives and projects
- Lead on identification of key drivers of engagement
- Design targeted interventions to increase levels of engagement and prevent staff turnover
- Consult and execute employee exits and provide exit data to help improve upon retention strategies
- Maintain strong network to staff across all levels of the organisation
- Support career guidance, identifying career development needs and define succession plans for the business
- Support and facilitate global HR activities, including onboarding, development, leadership coaching, the annual performance cycle, and engagement surveys.
- Manage organisation change, employees promotions request approvals
- Coach line managers to improve people management and improve performance of their team
- Embed the inclusion agenda
- Ensure the employee voice is heard and building feedback into proactive planning
- Support the people team administrator with onboarding and offboarding activities
- Deliver learning and development sessions to support with a continuous improvement culture
**About you**
This is a key role for a strong HR generalist with business partnering experience, who is looking for an opportunity to implement the people strategy but also enjoys working operationally with key stakeholders.
Essential:
- CIPD qualification or be qualified by equivalent experience
- Up to date knowledge of UK Employment Legislation
- Ability to think innovatively and with a sound business approach
- Proven ability to build partnerships and you hold a strong advisory voice throughout multiple levels and departments of a company.
- Experience of contributing to organisational strategy development and decision making
- In-depth knowledge of local labor and employment laws. Some exposure to global laws is even better
- Time in various HR roles such as recruitment, learning and development, total reward & benefits, compensation and organisational development
- Commitment to promoting equality and diversity practices and working knowledge of equal opportunities
- A passion for supporting and coaching stakeholders to engage positively with the people function
- A desire to really make a difference to our employees and reduce risk to the business
