We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Assistant. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service and ensuring their needs are met.

**Duties**:

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries, concerns, and requests
- Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions or escalate to the appropriate department
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
- Upsell products and services to increase sales revenue
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring product availability

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English to interact with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating discounts or change
- Phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally and assist callers with their inquiries
- Ability to sell products or services by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate options

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £23,854.48 per year
