Instructional Designer

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced instructional designer to join our growing team and contribute to the design and development of accessible and impactful digital, blended and instructor-led learning in line with the our brand.
Reporting to the instructional design lead, you will:
- The end-to-end design and development of course materials.
- Manage client customisations and maintain existing courses and e-learning courses to ensure that content is up to date.
- Develop robust assessment modules to evaluate the effectiveness of learning content and validate that the learner has attained the desired outcomes of the module.
- Provide technical advice during learning development projects and recommend options for how to deliver compelling course content that enhances knowledge transfer and retention.
- Ensure content meets style, accessibility and branding guidelines.
- Design exceptional and engaging learning content using instructional design methodologies.
- Manage stakeholder expectations with regard to learning design and delivery
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior experience in instructional design or a similar role.
- Experience in the development of accessible learning (WCAG 2.1), learning for mobile delivery and blended learning.
- Experience using rapid development tools such as Articulate 360, Captivate, etc.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly using the most appropriate combination of words, pictures and video.
- Ability to estimate realistically, plan and deliver work according to tight deadlines.
- Experience in publishing for SCORM.
- Knowledge of learning management systems such as Moodle would be beneficial but is not essential.
