Health & Activity Customer Service Officer

Dorset Council is looking for two highly motivated individuals, with excellent organisation and communication skills, to join the Health and Activity Team based at the Golf & Activity Centre, Moors Valley Country Park on a casual basis.
Alongside managing the Golf & Activity Centre, the Councils Health and Activity team coordinate, deliver and promote a wide range of entry level activities across the Dorset Council area, to encourage people to become more active to benefit their health & wellbeing. The team includes over 250 active volunteer leaders and a number of health and activity instructors who deliver sessions across a range of locations.
**What you will be doing**
The postholders will act as the first point of contact for Moors Valley Golf Course users and health and activity participants. Responsibilities will include taking bookings for the Golf Course and community activities and providing administrative support for the team as required.
As part of operational procedures, ensuring equipment is ready and available for use by golfers and health and activity participants and locked away securely is vital to the day to day running of the Centre, this includes golf buggies and accessible cycles. The postholders will be responsible for opening and closing the Centre as required.
**About you**
This vacancy is a part time opportunity at 18.75 hours per week.
