We are looking for a skilled and effective Scrum Master, ideally qualified (Agile Project Management Practitioner / Scrum master certification) who has excellent knowledge of the scrum framework, with all its artifacts and techniques, and the ability to coordinate people and projects with a focus on the deliverables.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following:

- Experience in a scrum master role
- Familiarity with software development
- Strong knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
- Outstanding organisational skills

Key Accountabilities for the role will include:

- Plan Sprints - including ensuring there are clear sprint goals, the stories and tasks allocated to each sprint aligns to our standards and ensure the outcomes are achievable considering dependencies and resources
- Manage sprint delivery - Run daily Stand ups, monitor burn down and resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur to ensure deliverables are up to quality standards
- Manage overall Project (EPIC) scope and timelines. Driving Story composition and story points sizing for new requirements and ensure the backlog is groomed with the product owner
- Complete regular retrospectives and drive people, process, or technical change to achieve higher scrum maturity

The Scrum Master is responsible for ensuring that each team member follows the framework of Scrum. They make sure everyone knows their role and helps coach them through any unclear parts while also guiding larger teams using this method effectively.

Scrum masters build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it

Accountable for project costs (internal and external and agreeing costs with contracting individuals and will be indirectly managing one to two scrums of c. eight people.
