Sue Ryder's Fundraising directorate have an amazing career development opportunity as we are grow our team and expand our legacy marketing into new and existing areas.

About the role:
To support the Legacy & In Memory Team to inspire new and existing audiences to give in memory of a loved one and/or consider leaving a gift in their will for Sue Ryder’s work and to help provide them with the information they seek to do so.

To support the delivery of the Legacy and In Memory strategy, legacy and in memory campaigns and supporter journeys.

To work closely with the Community Legacy Leads to provide them with the marketing materials and resources they need in their stewardship of Legacy and In Memory Supporters.

About you:

- Experience of working in a marketing or fundraising environment with knowledge of marketing and/or fundraising principles, evaluation metrics and KPIs.
- Preferably has knowledge of charitable legacy and in memory giving and/or wills and probate law, as well as the legal and regulatory bodies with whom the charity must comply CIOF, Fundraising Regulator and ILM best practise.
- Experience of end to end campaign management through a variety of offline and online channels.
- Experience and solid understanding of relational databases (CRM) functionality and structures
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of the Google suite is desirable
- An understanding of gathering and using audience insights
- Previous knowledge of developing high quality marketing materials including briefing, asset gathering, editing and print procurement
- Knowledge of customer/supporter journey planning.
