Business Development Administrator

**The Role**
Nigel Wright are delighted to be exclusively supporting a global business with their search for a Business Development Administrator, located in North Shields, Tyne and Wear.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an established team and the stakeholdersof the business.
The role is based onsite and is is responsible for supporting the UK & Ireland Commercial Sales Team, with constantly generating a high level of commercial leads, and qualifying them into realistic opportunities for their Sales team to close into a sale.
Prior knowledge of using Salesforce would be greatly beneficial for this role, but not essential, although some experience of using a CRM system would be essential.
**Duties include**:
- Taking inbound calls from potential and existing commercial clients
- Inputting and up-keeping the CRM system with relevant leads and client updates
- Arranging samples to be sent out to customers
- Chasing up leads/samples to try and gain traction/commitment from customers
- Liaising with the sales team and other internal stakeholders
- General admin support to the team and wider commercial sales team

We are looking for someone who has the following skills/attributes:
- Team player
- Prior use of a CRM system
- Excellent communicator with good written skills
- Someone who can 'think outside the box'
- Excellent organisational skills
