We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team of skilled engineers who install and service our extensive range of packaging machines throughout the UK.

Antalis have over 1500 machine placements throughout the UK.

The ability to work on your own initiative and communicate clearly with customers, suppliers, and the Antalis team at all levels is a must for the role.

Working to a high professional standard as a representative of the company when attending customer's premises to diagnose / repair faulty equipment is also important for this Field Service Engineer position.

We are looking for an individual with real energy and passion for the role, who will provide excellent customer service and be flexible to the demands of the position.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Ability to confidently deal with customers, supplier relations, and queries e.g. faults, warranties, technical queries, installation queries etc.
- Be able to liaise with customers across the UK both verbally and in writing
- UK-wide travel to attend customer sites, some overnight stays will be required as dictated by the timescale of the work to be carried out
- Must have attention to detail and be able to work from technical drawings to assemble the finished product
- Must have the ability to fault-find and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Have the ability and initiative to work without direct supervision or with a team
- Confident working with manual or automatic tools/machinery

**Additional Information** This is a national field-based role; therefore, a south-based home location is preferable.

**Essential Skills** **Ideally you will have experience in**:

- Siemens and/or Rockwell PLC programming
- Microsoft Office
- AutoCAD
- Semi/Automated machinery - field service/installation background
- Multi-skilled (electro, mechanical)
- Clean driving licence
