Field Service Engineer Recruit4staff is proud to represent a leading Manufacturing & Engineering company searching for a Field Service Engineer to cover an hour radius of Dartford. Benefits and working conditions: Salary £41,792 per annum (depending on experience) Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM–5 PM (45 hours per week; permanent days) Regular overtime payable X1.5 on Monday to Saturday and X2 on Sunday Pay reviews 25 days holiday + bank holidays Company van (inclusive of personal use) Company laptop and phone Company power tools Ongoing training and future development Company pension Health care scheme Role Responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing third‑party equipment, providing excellent customer service and product knowledge. Complete daily service, repair, warranty and inspection jobs to a high-quality standard. Build strong rapport and relationships with customers through professional behaviour and a customer‑focused mindset. Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve standard technical problems, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction. Develop skills and knowledge of the organisation's products and services. Comply with all legal and company standards, including code of conduct and H&S practices. Qualifications and experience Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualifications or equivalent experience (essential). Experienced multi‑skilled engineering background with heavy plant equipment and hydraulic systems (essential). Ability to read and follow electrical wiring diagrams. Willingness to work from heights. Fault finding and diagnostics of CANBUS systems and electrical fault finding. Good IT literacy, numeracy and analytical skills.
