**Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant - ADHD & Autism Specialist**

Are you an experienced **Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant** passionate about supporting children with **ADHD and Autism (ASD)?** A fantastic **primary school in Mill Hill, Barnet** is looking for a dedicated professional to provide tailored support to students in **Reception - Year 6**, helping them **thrive academically, socially, and emotionally**.

**The Role**:

- Work **1:1 and in small groups** with children diagnosed with **ADHD and ASD**, ensuring they receive the right support.
- Implement **individualised strategies** to support focus, emotional regulation, and behaviour management.
- Use **structured routines, sensory strategies, and visual supports** to enhance learning experiences.
- Collaborate with **teachers, SENCOs, and therapists** to follow and adapt **EHCPs (Education, Health & Care Plans)**.
- Support social skills development and encourage positive peer interactions.
- Help students develop **independence, confidence, and resilience** in their learning journey.

**Level 3 Qualification** in Teaching Assistance, Childcare, or a related field.
**Strong experience working with ADHD and Autism** in a primary school setting.
Proficiency in **behaviour management strategies** to help regulate emotions and engagement.
Understanding of **PECS, Makaton, sensory play, or other communication techniques** (desirable).
Ability to remain **patient, adaptable, and proactive** in a fast-paced environment.
**Enhanced DBS** (or willingness to obtain one).
