**Job Title: Service Desk Operator**

**Location: Glasgow**

**Salary: £20,500.00 per annum**

**Hours: 37.5 hours a week**

Our client, one of the UK’s leaders in providing innovative construction and engineering solutions for clients within a variety of sectors including Retail, Health, Education and Commercial, now has an immediate need to employ a reliable Service Controllerto work across their internal business divisions who will deal with all administrative duties across defined FM contracts.

**Job Function**:
To act as the first point of contact, handling inbound and outbound telephone calls & electronic communication from customers and suppliers in relation to engineering and purchase order issues. To liaise with operations colleagues, external contractors,suppliers and the customer to ensure the effective allocation of jobs to ensure completion within agreed timescales. Ensure the accurate recording of information on bespoke IT systems, the management of associated documentation, quotes and invoices in linewith Company procedures and key performance indicators. Ensure compliance with associated statutory regulations.

**Principle Accountabilities**:

- Assess returned engineer job notes and generate revisits where required
- Ensure funding is adequate to cover revisits
- Raise purchase orders for parts and van stock replenishment
- Assist with invoice queries
- Check portals are updated by engineers, updating where necessary
- Load certificates to portals where applicable
- Record proof of deliveries for goods dispatched to sites
- Receive incoming alarm activations, assess and contact sites where necessary
- Work as part of a team to deliver excellent service to the Customer.
- Comply with any other reasonable management instruction or ad-hoc duties.

**Key Experience Required**:

- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or Call Centre Environment
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software
- High attention to detail and work with a high degree of accuracy
