Safran Helicopter Engines UK Ltd are being supported by PETA Ltd to recruit and train an enthusiastic Logistics Business Support Apprentice to join their Logistics and Warehouse Team to support with administration duties and day to day running.

**Training to be provided**:
Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15-month apprenticeship which includes 12 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.

**About the role**:
The Logistics Business Support Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:

- Processing goods receipted in line with the goods receipt procedure
- Storage of parts in designated locations using lifting equipment as applicable
- Issuing parts to Service Orders as detailed on pick lists to complete repair activity
- Processing movements of goods using SAP
- Put away and issuing of parts - maintaining correct stock levels in the correct locations
- Management of DLF (direct line feed)
- Bin replenishment and reorder trigger
- SLED management and scrapping of parts in line with scrap procedure
- Management of SLED (shelf life expire date) controlled materials, through SAP reporting and stock management.

**Essential Skills**:
It is essential that the Logistics Business Support Apprentice has the following skills and personal qualities:

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Basic knowledge of IT system including word, excel and outlook
- A proactive approach to work
- Demonstrable relationship building and communication skills
- GCSEs in maths and English with at least a grade C / 4 are required.
