Facilities & Support Services Co-ordinator

Summary ‘Looking after what we’ve got’ is the essence of what we do every day and with a range of buildings and facilities to care for, we’re looking for someone to help make sure that things run smoothly, safely and with the highest standards of service.
**Hours**:37.5 hours per week. Generally this will be Monday to Friday, but occasional weekend or Bank Holiday working may be required to support the wider team.
**Duration**:Permanent contract which offers realistic salary progression based on annual reviews, starting ASAP.
What it's like to work here You’ll be based in the Estate Office at Longshaw, situated in the Peak District National Park but you may occasionally be required to work at our other properties in the Peak District to attend meetings/training and provide cover for absences.
You’ll report to the Facilities & Support Services Manager and join a supportive team of Facilities & Support Services Co-ordinators who work at our other two sites in the Peak District portfolio: the White Peak and High Peak.
You’ll need exceptional organisational skills and a can-do attitude for the Facilities aspect of your role as you’ll support the Facilities & Support Services Manager in the areas of Health, Safety, Security, Fire, Access and Risk. You’ll help to organiseplanned, preventative and reactive repairs to Longshaw’s buildings and you’ll respond promptly to issues, coordinate with contractors and work with volunteers to create a safe working environment for everyone. You’ll need an eye for detail, high standardsand you’ll always be looking at how you can make efficiencies.

- An enthusiastic, all-round team player with an approachable attitude and willingness to learn
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload
- Confident using IT packages such as Microsoft Outlook and various systems including asset management databases and compliance trackers
- Aware of Heath & Safety compliance requirements with an understanding of facilities management and maintenance requirements
- Committed to making a difference with a desire to show initiative and contribute to the core values of the Trust
- A great communicator with a proven track-record of delivering excellent customer and administrative service
