We have an opportunity for a **Volunteer Co-ordinator** **to join our organisation
The **Volunteer Co-ordinator** **will be based at our offices in **Sheffield**
**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
To promote, develop and embed volunteering and peer mentoring within Sheffield Foundations and to unlock service users potential. To provide opportunities for individuals to develop their skills, capabilities and confidence and to enhance service delivery and quality to meet contractual obligations and commissioner expectations.
You will be expected to contribute to the maintenance and development of the Association’s values, culture and ethos.
**Key Responsibilities**
- To identify and promote volunteering internally and externally through recruitment, publicity strategies and campaigns to provide opportunities for individuals to develop their skills and capabilities, and enhance the services provided and delivered by Adullam.
- To liaise with colleagues to identify and match volunteers and volunteering opportunities, to promote volunteers prospects and enhance the service provided to customers.
- To promote and raise staff awareness of the role and functions of volunteers to maximise up take within the service.
- To generate and maintain appropriate volunteering opportunities and role profiles dependant on the need of the Service and its customers.
- To recruit, induct, evaluate and provide ongoing support and supervision to volunteers to ensure that they are compliant with Adullam’s policies and procedures and the requirements of DBS.
- To provide appropriate training and matching of volunteers with specific staff roles to ensure that they effectively contribute to their support and independence plan.
- To organise the volunteer rota, and monitor and maintain accurate records of volunteering hours to maximise volunteer opportunities and to meet and if possible exceed contractual requirements.
- To manage the allocated budget and resources for volunteers including the welfare budget in line with the service budget and Adullam’s policies and procedures.
- To celebrate and recognise volunteering by nominating volunteers for awards and organizing volunteering events in line with Adullam’s and external agencies rewards programmes.
- To identify, input into and monitor funding bids to secure monies to enhance and maximise volunteering opportunities and projects.
- To help develop and grow the welfare budget by obtaining external funding, grants, donations and social return on investment.
- To maintain accurate, up to date written and electronic records and performance information to support the production of statistical information to meet the service and organisations reporting requirements.
- To work at all times within an equality of opportunity framework to ensure compliance with the organisation’s policies and procedures, and current legislation.

**Health and Safety**
- To be aware of the Association’s policies and ensure they are carried out and that good practice is maintained.

**Co-production**
- Ensure the delivery of Adullam’s coproduction involvement and engagement strategy
- Deliver co-production involvement and engagement activities via the project structure
- Monitor and report on activities delivered under coproduction within the service
- Monitor and implement actions/change from satisfaction feedback and feedback such as complaints, comments and compliments.
- Fundraise to enhance the service offers to service users.

**Relationships and Partnerships**
- To create, maintain and enhance effective working relationships both internally and externally, and to challenge inappropriate, unproductive behaviours or behaviours or values that do not replicate those of Adullam.
- To cooperate with colleagues and promote and champion team working to ensure that the required contractual and performance outcomes are met.

**Personal Development**
- Contribute to the overall development of the Association by using individual skills, strengths and abilities.
- To actively participate in own supervision, annual performance review and objective setting.
- To fulfil own agreed personal development and training programme.

**General**
- To contribute positively to the Association’s efforts to ensure “Excellent Stewardship” of Adullam’s resources by delivering services with economy, efficiency and effectiveness
- Any other duties that are deemed appropriate to the post.
