**Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship - Ark Tindal Primary Academy** **Key Details** **Salary**: £6.40p/h **Working hours**: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 15:30pm (term time only) 35 hours per week **Location**: : Tindal Street, Balsall Heath, Birmingham, West Midlands, B12 9QS **Apprenticeship Details -** 16 months expected duration to complete, working towards your Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification. (All learning is delivered online/ remote). **Training Provider**: LMP Education (rated 1st best UK training provider) During your time as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice you will be part of a team delivering highly effective teaching and learning to ensure that pupils achieve the excellent academic results of which they are capable. You will be a role-model both in the Academy and for the community, having impact in school and beyond. Your day to day duties will include: - To assist and support with planning, resourcing, and delivering interventions to the highest standard to ensure that pupils make accelerated progress - To help to provide a nurturing classroom and school environment that helps pupils to develop as learners - To support the personal development of pupils within the Academy - To contribute to the effective working of the Academy by supporting staff and pupils - To support during breakfast club, at lunchtimes and with after-school clubs - To be open to feedback and be self-reflective - Observe, record and feedback information of pupil performance - Work with teachers to assess the needs of individual pupils - Plan and facilitate small group teaching - Plan and undertake direction for one-to-one teaching and intervention - Support the Academy’s values and ethos by contributing to the development and implementation of policies, practices and procedures - Help create a strong Academy community, characterised by consistent, orderly behaviour and caring, respectful relationships **Desired skills**: - Achieved GCSE grade C/4 or above in English & Maths - First aid training/qualification - Some experience of working with young people in either a paid or voluntary capacity **Personal qualities**: - Enthusiastic, and have an interest in working with children - A team player - Reliable, committed, and punctual - Professional, organised, and attention to detail - Confidence in your own ability to want to learn and develop **About the Employer** Our vision at Ark Tindal is to provide an exceptional education that inspires all children to flourish into confident, successful and well-rounded individuals.
