This role is working with an organisation that pride themselves on growing and developing their people and creating an environment in which people can perform at their best.They have offices in the city, but are very agile in terms of working arrangementand the role can be worked on a hybrid or predominantly remote basis.
The role is for an Early Talent Manager to the Lead the Early Talent function (team of 4) which was established in 2020 and the Early Talent Manager role was created to support the attraction, development and retention of Early Talent.The role is a hybridone, focussing primarily on recruitment and Learning & Development (L&D) disciplines. You will work closely with the Heads of L&D and HR to help deliver a strategic and professional proposition, attracting and recruiting high calibre individuals into the firmand supporting with their learning and development journey, as well as working closely with training/line managers to coach them to effectively manage their trainees.
Key role responsibilities will include;
**Strategy**:

- Develop and embed an Early Talent Attraction strategy
- Develop and embed a coherent social mobility and D&I strategy for Early Talent population
- Assist HR team with Early Trainee Reward strategy

**Recruitment**:

- Oversee the recruitment process for all those on early talent pathways
- Organise and attend Early Talent attraction events, raising the profile of the firm and positioning the firm as an employer of choice
- Oversee the design and overall delivery of the assessment centre
- Develop and oversee a structured internship programme

**L&D**:

- Own, prepare and facilitate Early Talent induction and integration activities
- Own the L&D journey for trainees including:

- Oversee the training cycle for trainees e.g. identify training needs, source training providers, design/deliver transferable skills/behavioural training and evaluate training interventions
- Oversee additional development interventions e.g. mentoring and career coaching
- Work with job-based managers to support the trainee L&D journey on-the-job
- Oversee the relationship with training providers e.g. registration of trainees, course bookings, exam bookings, progress monitoring (administration conducted by Senior Administrator).
- Oversee and track the trainee training budget
- Work with the Head of L&D to identify and measure the ROI of trainee L&D

**Key skills and experience required;**:

- Proven experience leading on early talent within a professional services firm
- Able to build close relationships in client groups with people at all levels, from trainee to leadership
- A strong awareness of the latest People and Early Talent trends, insights and innovations
- An ability to formulate and implement strategy
- Able to lead and inspire a small team
- Able to confidently challenge and influence leaders to make better decisions
