**The role**:Join our team at Ellis Butchers as a skilled butcher. We’re looking for individuals with a passion for quality cuts and exceptional customer service. If you have experience in meat preparation and a keen eye for detail, we’d love to have you on board.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Providing excellent customer service.
- Whole carcass breakdown.
- Cutting, trimming and preparing meat products.
- Ensuring proper handling and storage of meat products.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborating with the team to meet production goals.
- Previous experience as a butcher (minimum 3 years required).
- Strong knowledge of meat cuts and handling of all species.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Work well as part of a team with a positive can-do attitude.
- Well organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Follow managers instructions throughout.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Work in a clean and safe manner.
- Be able to adhere to food safety protocols, ensuring HACCP and CCP’s are maintained and enforced.
- Be available to start work at 6am.
- Full UK driving licence would be preferable.

Pay: £35,000.00-£37,500.00 per year
