An award-winning PR Agency is looking for a PR Account Executive in the early stages of their career, possibly even a graduate looking for their first role, to join their Cheltenham based team.

The successful PR Account Executive will constantly note new themes, policy developments and political issues/publications, which may be relevant to clients. From talking to friends, using social media, watching TV, listening to radio and podcasts, or readinga wide range of relevant online media titles.

**PR Account Executive Responsibilities**:

- Support the Account Manager, anticipating what needs doing next, contributing ideas to drive accounts forward
- Effectively manage all account administration, drafting reports, and seeking approval
- Read, monitor, and report on media daily
- Own monthly activity planners ensuring they are fully populated and up to date, suggesting new ideas and opportunities to the Account Manager
- Research and draft communications materials, including press releases, newsletters, feature material, stakeholder audits, under supervision
- Use media databases effectively, compiling media lists and features, maximising client opportunities
- Play an active part in the production of collateral (i.e. campaign documents, publications, consultation materials etc), taking material through the design and client approval process
- Closely monitor logístical arrangements for events and meetings (i.e. journalist briefings, public exhibitions) to ensure they run smoothly
- Highlight potential risks or opportunities to the Account Manager

**PR Account Executive Skills/ Experience**:

- A good overall understanding of communication objectives, strategies, and tactics
- Self-motivated and tenacious
- Understand the basic principles of PR and its role in business
- Have an appetite to go the extra mile
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy
