**LOCATION**: Based in the UK with regular travel to European sites.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Sales Director - Europe : technical materials
Your focus will be to lead the develop our strategic and diverse sales experts across multiple market segments including Filtration, Medical, Industrial and Automotive. You are the type of leader who empowers, monitors, measures, and holds the team accountable.You will leverage your expertise and technical experience to drive sales methodologies that deliver profitable growth for your region.

- Inclusive / empowering leadership of a team of sales professionals across UK and Europe.
- Driving standards and creating a cultural change from the individual offering to a collective solution.
- Develop strategic sales and marketing strategies to deliver on growth objectives.
- Understand and map the complete market opportunity, whilst keeping abreast of industry specific trends and landscapes.
- Build and maintain outstanding relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.

**About you**:
Throughout your career, you have consistently challenged yourself to work outside of your comfort zone, to invest in yourself, a strong leader, with a strong voice who has the courage to demand investment in their people. You have the ability to step back andsee the big picture, enabling you to prioritise your teams' resources and commercial focus.
Most likely you will have:
- A track record of building successful teams, with an eye for talent and succession planning.
- Operated within a technical/industrial manufacturing environment.
- Integrated and collected best practice from sales teams brought together by acquisitions.
- Worked across multi site, multi country operations, with a minimum of a £200m sales budget.
- A Degree and ideally an MBA.
