**Your responsibilities include**:

- Independently and with high quality perform customs clearances including certificates, solve and offer solutions to incidents.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all Import & Export declarations and Transit Movements.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all financial activities relevant to Customs Department.
- Ensure all Customer needs are met or exceeded, within our Compliance Controls.
- To ensure all Operating Manuals are regularly and updated where required.
- Ensure that work carried out complies with standard as defined in the operating Manuals.
- To ensure the Quality Assurance Procedures are up to date and clearly reflect current working practices.
- Ensuring that all Local customs authority/statutory requirements are met or exceeded.
- Continuously identify waste in processes, delivering improvements which will positively impact productivity (production) levels.
- Maintain a first-class business relationship with all customers and internal stakeholders in the team.
- To support all growth initiatives and actively participate in creating innovative solutions.
- To be an active team member who will exchange knowledge and expertise.
- To ensure training is completed to allow you to cover all accounts.
- Proactively lead or actively participate in Customs related projects
- To engender team spirit and staff engagement.
- Drive the sales forward, participate as an SME during new sales acquisitions

- Statutory requirements met or exceeded
- Increase in productivity (production) levels YOY improvements
- Your ability to meet deadlines / Team ability to meet deadlines.

Knowledge/ Skills required:
Technical Skills:

- Local customs authorities’ knowledge - to include classification, reclaims, websites
- CDS knowledge
- Destin8, ASM
- Other relevant Customs systems

Soft Skills:

- Strong customer-facing and interaction skills with high-level of customer orientation
- Supervisory Skills
- Team engagement and support
- The ability to work under pressure to deadline
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all organizational levels with a focus on collaboration and network behavior
- Support CPAs in their training and development as well as sharing knowledge with the team.
