**Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;**

**General maintenance of areas to include grass cutting, hedge trimming, clearing leaves, shrub bed maintenance, using required machinery, removing fly tipping, and removing litter as required.**

**Undertake horticultural operations, e.g. Planting, pruning and seeding: ground maintenance activities.**

**The post holder will also be required to drive and operate various vehicles and items of plant and equipment. Duties will be varied but will include all aspects of Grounds maintenance works.**

**Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;**

**Carry out general GM on the public highway using various power tools, with responsibility for lower graded staff you may be working with**

**Use a range of tools and equipment, including power tools and light plant, including the operation of ride on mowers and tractor-mounted equipment**
