We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Administrator. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our operations to deliver outstanding service to our clients.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing diaries, and coordinating work orders.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and engineers to ensure clear communication and timely responses.
- Process incoming service requests, allocate jobs, and track progress through to completion.
- Maintain accurate records of jobs, parts, and materials used in our management system.
- Assist with invoicing, handling payments, and managing other financial tasks as directed.
- Provide general administrative assistance to support the smooth operation of the business.
**Qualifications & Skills Required**:
- Previous experience in an administrative or operations role, ideally within the trades or service industry.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional telephone manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using business management software.
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with plumbing and heating terminology or previous industry experience is desirable but not essential.
