**Overview**
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to individuals in need. This position involves supporting clients in their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being, and promoting their independence. You will work closely with clients in various settings, including care homes and home care environments, to deliver personalised care plans tailored to each individual's needs.

**Duties**
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as required, promoting healthy eating habits.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to the relevant healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in social activities and companionship to enhance their quality of life.
- Drive to clients' homes or care facilities as necessary, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.

**Skills**
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Experience or knowledge of home care practices is advantageous.
- Ability to understand and follow care plans accurately while being attentive to the specific needs of each client.
- Basic written skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively within the team.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.

**Please note our minimum contract is 22hrs per week.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 44 per week
