**Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate & dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our all female team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients within the comfort of their own home. Assisting with daily activities & ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing/washing, dressing, medication administration & domestic duties.
- Support individuals in daily living activities, promoting independence & dignity.
- Implement care plans, ensuring that all needs are met.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided & report any changes in the individual's condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, & other healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Drive to various locations as required for home care visits or transport of clients when necessary.
- Utilise IT systems for documentation & communication purposes.
- Participate in mandatory training sessions & team meetings to enhance skills & knowledge.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a home care or care home setting is preferred but not essential, we can train the nitty gritty if you bring the willingness to learn.
- A valid driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
- Familiarity with following care plans is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with clients & their families.
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping & communication purposes are required.
- A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- A full DBS on the update system is desired but not required.

**What we offer**
- Block hourly pay, unlike most other home care companies who pay per minute
- Two week rolling rota, with every other weekend off. Your working days will be: Week A: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday. Week B: Monday, Thursday & Friday

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.50 per hour
